This week's topic: Debuts I'm looking forward to.
I actually don't do much research into what's coming out within the next months. I hear about random books usually through other blogs or word of mouth, but it's rare that I'm waiting in anticipation for a debut novel to come out. Authors I love, I pay more attention to. With that said, there are a few debut books on my radar at the moment.
1. Wake by Anna Hope-I've already read this one thanks to Netgalley, and I can't wait for it to come out so that I can start recommending it to friends and family and buying it for gifts. Out Feb 11th.
2. Also a book I've already read and need to come out so that I can buy it for my twin sis-I Shall Be Near to You by Erin Lindsay McCabe. This was made me cry on my lunch break at work, people. Out Jan 28th.
3. Love Letters to the Dead by Ava Dellaira, out April 1st.
And I guess that's it?? I have other books I'm looking forward to this year, but they aren't debut authors! My list is pitiful. I'm going to have to read everyone else's lists for some good ideas :)
Oh, I always have a massive list of upcoming books I'm looking forward to. Just another sign of my addiction! LOVE LETTERS TO THE DEAD does look fantastic! I'll have to go look up the other two right now.
ReplyDeleteWhile I have a long anticipation list, I actually rarely know who is a debut author or not. These are interesting recs -- will keep an eye out for them!
