Thankfully Reading Weekend

Jenn over at Jenn's Bookshelves is once again hosting Thankfully Reading Weekend, which will take place Thanksgiving weekend, and basically just be a nice laid-back weekend of reading with no rules.  I am desperate for a weekend of just reading!  So I've signed up!

The one catch is that I'm working on Black Friday.  I work in an office, doing customer service.  And pretty much the entire office will be off on Black Friday.  But not me!  Because it's not a holiday is Quebec and my customers need me.  Most of my customers know that I live in the US though so it should be a pretty quiet day.  I definitely plan on getting some reading done at the office that day.

My plan for Thankfully Reading Weekend is to tackle some books en francais that have been sitting around my place for ages.  For example, I'm about 3/4 of the way through Stendhal's Le rouge et le noir and I would love to finish that.  I've been super lax in my French reading as of late, so I can't wait to spend a whole weekend immersed in it!
